Webster City High School 2012 Graduation

I was thrilled to be able to attend my niece’s graduation in Webster City Iowa.  I love the excitement and fun that permeates a high school graduation.  Once there I just couldn’t help myself, I shot images of all the kids.  To see the entire gallery click Here.

Arizona or Bust

I’m not sure if you all know this but I am from Arizona.  I was born in Tucson, raised in Yuma, and raised my kids in Tucson.  As much as I love where I live now, Arizona will always be home.  I was going there to shoot a wedding in Mesa, but was able to spend some time with my son in Tucson as well.  While there I attended the Fourth Ave. Street Fair and a quick trip up Mount Lemon to do some fishing at Rose Canyon Lake.  All of these ventures allowed me opportunities for some beautiful photography.

Cherry Blossoms Have Peaked

This morning (very early) I went out with some friends to see the cherry blossoms in full bloom.  This is something we try to do every year at least once.  This year happened to be extra nice because it was so warm out.  Usually we are freezing while shooting, but this morning no gloves were needed.  If you are in the DC area at this time of this year you should really try to get out to see them.  They are truly spectacular.

I Think I Think

I think Spring has sprung!  Took a walk downtown to a tiny park that packs a punch this time of year.  There is something like 16 large magnolia trees in this small space.  So just shot some images then sat on a bench and enjoyed the view.

Gravelly Point Park

Last night I met up with about 40 photographers at the end of the National Airport’s runway to photograph the airplanes landing.  It was very chilly, but very beautiful out.  I love meeting new photogs and those I haven’t seen in a while.  Though I love the photos I got, after seeing some of the light trails in the other photos, I can’t wait to go out to this park again, but I am going to wait until it warms up a bit.  Hope you are all having a lovely weekend.
