This organization works to improve the quality of the people of Africa. The dinner was fantastic, the entertainment was fun and festive, and the honorees were inspirational.

You can imagine my delight when I was asked back to photograph the attendants of their annual Fireman’s Ball. The award recipients were lovely and quite gracious. The party was so much fun and the dancing so energetic that I found myself joining in a few times. I love these men and women who sacrifice their time, energy, and safety so that we may live safer.

Newly Hatched Firefighters

These men and women have gone through a grueling training to become firefighters. Not only are they signing on for a dangerous job, but they are volunteers to boot. Seeing the dedication and enthusiasm that these graduates showed makes me appreciate them even more than I did before. Congratulations Dumfries-Triangle Fire Department Recruit Class 10-1!
